How to find Windows\system32\UStorSrv.exe on my computer?
I use the McAfee premium anti/virus computer protection. Recently I did a full computer scan and picked the custom level to make sure I hit the specific files, or no file left behind. When I went to view the report It read that the C:\Windows\system32\UStorsrv.exe was blocked from conecting to the Internet as " Oti Content Service. I remember removing the UStorSrv.exe once before from another computer, but can't seem to find it on the Dell desktop using Windows XP. Do you think that this is a phantom readout of the McAfee, or this UStorSrv.exe really exisits? I want to find it, and a search, throughout the files did not produce a result, though hidden files were not scanned in the search1 person needs an answerI do too

More Google search Internet copy/paste says: ustorsrv.exe is a user invoked program and a normal part of PC operations. No action required. That is really useless copy/paste from the Internet.I think if you installed the OTI application and are using it, I don't think you would not want to remove it.What kinds of USB storage devices might you be using? Memory cards, thumb drives, external hard drives? My opinion of McAfee is less than favorable, but if you searched your system for the file and did not find it and you did not search for hidden files, maybe you should search for hidden files and see if you can find it.Then you will find it or you will not find it.If you search all files and folders including hidden things and do not find it, and only McAfee reports it, McAfee has a problem. If you search all files and folders including hidden things and do find it, and are suspicious of it, then upload it to some sites that scan individual files and have it scanned by 60+ scanning softwares (including McAfee) and see what the result is.Online scanner online virus scanner virus scanning engineshttp://www.virustotal.com/ (about 40+ scanners)http://virusscan.jotti.org/en (about 20+ scanners)For virustotal, if you get a message:File has already been analysedClick the Reanalyze file now button and wait. You might be in a waiting queue depending on how busy they are.You should see some progress indicator and the result will be displayed on the browser screen from A-Z when all the scans are done.If you even think your system might have some malicious software on it, no matter what else you are using for system protection, I would do this:Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs:Malwarebytes (MBAM): http://malwarebytes.org/SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/They can be uninstalled later if desired.Do, or do not. There is no try.I decided to save up points for a new puppy instead of a pony!
